CDE's (Combined Driving Events) though enjoyed in horse and pony circles for many years is fairly new to miniature horse owners. In this venue miniature horses are referred to as VSE. VSE (Very Small Equine) division is for equines 39" and under measured at the withers and do not need to be registered to compete. Most events are held out doors rain or shine. It's an excellent place to take a break from arena driving and enjoy the fresh air and amazing scenery.
Many EMHC members enjoy this type of competition and most do it while still showing and winning in the AMHR circuit. This page is dedicated to those people and horses. |

2008 CDE Year End Award |
| Due to generous members EMHC is able to offer a Combined Driving Year End Award in 2008. |
To qualify for this you need to attend at least 2 CDE or DT events. If you are lucky enough to compete at more than 2, submit the best 2 scores for consideration. To make it competitive for all divisions, only your combined dressage and cones scores are eligible.
The member with the lowest 2 event combined score
will receive the award.
After each event submit your score to Wanda Lusk to be recorded. The winner will be announced in the newsletter and award presented at the banquet in October. |
